Campaign Launch QA That Catches Errors Before Spend Begins

Campaign launch QA is the step that most often gets squeezed when teams are busy, and it is where costly mistakes begin. AdOps Media provides a dedicated desk for setup, pre-launch checks and pacing monitoring, so each campaign goes live as briefed before spend begins and stays on plan once it is running.

Built for: Agencies and in-house teams with many campaign launches

What's included

The desk handles the repeatable work around every launch. It covers setup, testing and monitoring, and gives your team a clear record of what was checked and what was fixed.

Setup From the Insertion Order

We build campaigns, line items and placements from your approved brief. Each build is matched to the insertion order for budgets, dates, targeting, frequency caps and naming before it moves to testing.

Ad Trafficking & Campaign Management

Pre-Launch QA Checklist

Every launch goes through a written checklist. It covers creative rendering, click-through, tags, pixels, brand safety settings and ad server links. The result of every check is logged, so your team has a record for each launch.

QA & Technical Support

Pacing and Delivery Monitoring

After launch, we watch delivery against plan every day, flag under-pacing and over-pacing, and report the likely causes behind each. Your trader receives a suggested fix and decides what to approve.

Reporting & Analytics

Why teams choose it

Fewer Live Errors

A fixed checklist catches wrong dates, broken tags and mismatched targeting before money is spent, which reduces make-goods and awkward calls with clients.

Launches Without a Queue

A dedicated desk means several campaigns can be built and checked in parallel. Your traders are no longer the bottleneck when many briefs land at once.

A Record You Can Share

Each launch leaves a QA log. You can show clients and finance what was checked, which helps with audits, disputes and handovers between team members.

Problems Found Early

Daily delivery checks surface pacing and tracking issues while there is still time to act, instead of at the end of the flight or at invoice time.

Services in this solution

Each part is delivered by the same AdOps Media team, so planning, execution and reporting stay in one place.

Illustrative example: what a pre-launch check can catch

This is an example, not a client result. An agency sends a new display line item to launch on Friday. Before spend begins, the QA step compares the live setup with the insertion order and finds three typical issues: the flight end date is a week short, a geo exclusion was applied to the wrong ad group, and one creative size has no click-through URL.

Each issue is logged with who owns the fix. The campaign launches once they are corrected, and the first-day pacing check confirms delivery is moving as planned. None of these problems is unusual. They are the kind that surface only after spend if nobody checks first.

What you get at the start

Before the first launch we agree how checks will work with you. You receive:

• A launch checklist built from your insertion order fields, tracking requirements and client rules. You can supply your own or start from ours and edit it.

• A shared log where every check, finding and fix is recorded with an owner.

• A pacing-watch routine that states what we look at after launch and what triggers a message to you.

• A named contact and an agreed route for urgent launches.

Checklist: what a launch check should cover

Whoever does your QA, the list should cover at least: flight dates and budgets against the insertion order; geo, audience and frequency settings; creative specs, click URLs and tracking pixels; brand safety and verification tags; floor prices and deal IDs where deals are used; naming that follows your convention; and first-day delivery against the plan.

A tight deadline is a reason to shorten scope, not to skip the check. If time is too short to review everything, we say which items were checked and which were not, so the decision to launch is informed.

How it works

  1. Brief Intake

You send the approved brief and insertion order through a shared intake form or ticket, with creative and tracking details.

  2. Build and Test

We build the campaign, run the written QA checklist and fix issues with you, then confirm that it is ready.

  3. Launch and Watch

After your go-ahead, the campaign goes live and the desk monitors delivery, tags and pacing each day.

  4. Report and Tune

You get a summary of issues, fixes and checks, and we update the checklist with lessons from each flight.

FAQ

What platforms does the QA desk cover?

We work with DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Google Ad Manager and common third-party ad servers and verification tools. If your stack includes another platform, tell us during scoping. We will confirm whether we can support it and how we would set up access.

Can you use our own QA checklist?

Yes. Many agencies already have a checklist. We review it, fill gaps if you want us to, and then follow it exactly. If you have none, we provide a starting version covering setup, creative, tracking and delivery that you can approve and change.

Do you only check, or also build campaigns?

Both options are available. Some teams send us finished builds to check. Others send briefs and we handle setup, QA and monitoring end to end. You can start with checks only and add setup later when you have seen how the desk works.

How do you handle urgent or late launches?

We agree service windows and an urgent route during onboarding. Rush launches follow the same checklist, so quality does not drop, but they move to the front of the queue. We also tell you plainly when a deadline is too tight to check properly.

How is QA desk work priced?

QA and trafficking support is usually priced either as a monthly retainer for an expected volume of launches, or per campaign launched. A retainer suits agencies with steady volume, while a per-campaign fee suits irregular launches. Percentage-of-media pricing is uncommon for this work because checking effort does not scale with spend. We propose the model that fits your volume and put it in writing before work begins.
