Conversion Analytics and CRO From Clean Data to Tests

Conversion analytics and CRO start with data you can trust. We set up GA4 and a tag manager, build consent-aware tracking for your markets, map where visitors drop out of the funnel and run A/B tests on the pages that matter. Each change is tied to a hypothesis and measured.

Built for: Marketing and ecommerce leads responsible for site conversion

What's included

Improving conversion needs reliable measurement first and structured testing second. We cover both, from event setup to page changes, and we document each step so your team can keep using the work.

GA4 and Tag Manager Setup

Event and conversion planning, a clean tag manager container, naming rules and testing before release. Your reports then reflect real actions such as form submissions, purchases and sign-ups, not guesses. Progress is shared in plain language.

Analytics & Reporting

Consent-Aware Tracking

Tracking configured to respect consent choices under rules such as GDPR and UK requirements, including consent mode settings. We work with your legal and privacy teams, who decide what is required. Progress is shared in plain language.

Website Development and Maintenance

Funnel Analysis and Testing

We map each step from landing to conversion, find where people leave, then plan A/B tests and landing page changes with a written hypothesis, a success measure and a clear stopping rule.

Paid Advertising Services

Why teams choose it

Numbers your team trusts

A tested tracking plan and tidy tag setup mean sales, marketing and leadership look at the same figures and spend less time arguing about which report is right.

Privacy handled by design

Consent choices are built into the tracking setup from the start, so measurement respects visitor preferences and your team can explain exactly what is collected.

Fixes ranked by value

Funnel analysis shows which steps lose the most visitors, so effort goes to the pages and forms where a change is most likely to matter.

Learnings that last

Every test is documented with its hypothesis, setup and result, creating a record your team can build on, even when results are flat.

Services in this solution

Each part is delivered by the same AdOps Media team, so planning, execution and reporting stay in one place.

Start with measurement you can rely on

Testing on bad data wastes time. Many sites carry duplicate events, missing conversions or tags added over the years by different people. We begin with an audit, then define the events that reflect your business goals and build them in GA4 through a tag manager so changes are versioned and easy to review. Every change is tested in a preview mode and checked against live behavior before release, with a rollback plan noted.

We also check that traffic sources are labeled consistently, so your paid and organic reports match what channels actually delivered. This groundwork supports the wider digital marketing services work, because every channel is judged on the same conversion definitions. Our analytics and reporting service explains the dashboards we build. Your team receives a tracking document listing every event, its trigger and its purpose.

Consent-aware tracking for multiple regions

Visitors in the UK and EU expect to choose how they are tracked, and Australia and parts of the US have their own privacy rules. Consent-aware tracking means tags fire according to the choice a visitor made, using a consent banner and consent mode settings where appropriate. Consent banners should be clear and easy to use, and we review wording and button design with your team.

The result is less complete data in some cases, and we explain how to read reports with that gap in mind. We configure the technical side, but your legal or privacy advisers decide what your policies require. We never advise on legal compliance ourselves, and we document every setting for your records. Where advertising platforms offer modeled conversions for unconsented traffic, we explain how that works and its limits.

Funnel analysis, A/B testing and landing pages

Once data is sound, we follow visitors through the funnel by device, source and market. Drop-off points show where to look: a slow page, a long form, an unclear offer. We combine analytics with session recordings and heatmaps where your policies allow, to understand why people leave. Qualitative findings are weighed against the numbers, so a test idea is backed by more than one signal.

Each test starts with a written hypothesis and a primary measure. We let tests run long enough to give a fair reading, and we do not promise uplift, since results vary by site and audience. Our website development and maintenance team can build winning changes into your site. Winning changes are rolled out carefully, and we monitor results afterward to confirm the gain holds.

Illustrative example: one test, written up

This is an example, not a client result. Research shows that visitors drop out of a checkout at the shipping step. The hypothesis: showing delivery cost earlier will reduce drop-out. The test compares the current page with a version that shows cost in the basket.

The plan sets the primary metric, the minimum run time and the traffic needed before the test starts. At the end the write-up states what happened, whether the result is reliable and what to try next, including when the test is inconclusive.

What you get at the start

The first phase fixes measurement. You receive:

• An audit of GA4 and tag manager, listing duplicate events, gaps and mislabeled sources.

• A tracking plan that lists every event, its trigger and its purpose.

• A consent setup tested in each region, on desktop and mobile.

• A funnel map showing where visitors leave, and a ranked list of test ideas.

Decision criteria: test or fix first?

If your tracking is unreliable, fix it before testing. If traffic is low, make research-based improvements and larger changes instead of formal tests. If you have enough visitors and conversions on a page, A/B testing becomes worthwhile.

Ask any provider how they decide a test is finished, how they treat inconclusive results and whether they will tell you when a test is not worth running.

How it works

  1. Measurement Audit

We review current analytics, tags and consent setup, and list gaps, duplicate events and missing conversions for your approval.

  2. Set Up and Validate

We configure GA4 events, tag manager tags and consent rules, then test each one before it goes live.

  3. Analyze the Funnel

We study the path from first visit to conversion by device, source and market, and pick the best places to test.

  4. Test and Learn

We run A/B tests and page improvements one at a time, record the outcomes and plan the next round.

FAQ

Do you set up GA4 from scratch or fix existing setups?

Both. For new properties we plan events and conversions first, then build them. For existing setups we audit for duplicates, gaps and mislabeled sources, then repair them and document the final configuration. We deliver a tracking plan document, so your team knows what is measured, how and why.

How do you handle consent and privacy rules?

We configure tags to respect visitor consent choices, including consent mode where suitable, and test them in each region. Your legal or privacy advisers decide what policies require, and we implement their decisions technically. We also test the consent banner itself in each region, on desktop and mobile, so visitors can accept or decline easily.

Will A/B testing guarantee higher conversion?

No. Some tests win, some lose and many are inconclusive. What we commit to is a structured process: clear hypotheses, fair test durations and documented learnings, so each round improves your understanding of what your visitors respond to. The goal is learning as well as winning, so even inconclusive tests are written up with what they suggest for the next idea.

Do we need a lot of traffic to run A/B tests?

Tests need enough visitors and conversions to read results fairly. If your volume is low, we focus on analytics fixes, page improvements based on research and larger changes, and we reserve formal tests for pages with sufficient traffic.

Can you make the page changes as well?

Yes. Our development team can build and release landing page changes, new forms and speed improvements, or we can hand specifications to your own developers and check the work against the plan before it goes live.

How is CRO work priced?

CRO and analytics work is usually priced as a project fee for an audit and tracking setup, then a monthly retainer for ongoing testing and reporting. A fee per test is also used. Percentage-of-revenue models exist but make attribution disputes likely. We agree scope and fee in writing, based on the number of sites, regions and tests planned. This is a separate service line from our ad operations work.
