Amazon DSP Management
By a Team That Trafficks Daily
Amazon DSP management is more than switching on a line item. Our team plans, builds, trafficks and optimizes your programmatic campaigns across Amazon owned sites and third-party supply, using Amazon audiences, Amazon Marketing Cloud insight and reporting your clients can read. We work white-label for agencies and as an extension of in-house brand teams.
Built for: Brands, agencies and Amazon sellers running programmatic
What's included
Amazon DSP rewards structure, clean audience logic and careful measurement. These are the three areas where our managed service does most of its work for brands and agencies.
Audience and line item architecture
We map Amazon shopper, lifestyle and in-market audiences, your own first-party lists and lookalikes into a clear order structure, so each line item has one job and results are easy to read.
Programmatic Media Buying & AdvertisingOnsite and offsite delivery
Amazon DSP reaches Amazon owned properties, streaming TV and third-party exchanges. We set supply, frequency and creative by placement, and keep retail and streaming activity aligned with your wider plan.
Offsite Programmatic (Retail DSP)Amazon Marketing Cloud analysis
We use Amazon Marketing Cloud queries to study audience overlap, path to purchase and audience quality, then turn the findings into audience and budget changes that you can review and approve quickly.
Clean Rooms and AttributionWhy teams choose it
One owner for the whole account
A single team handles planning, trafficking, pacing and reporting, so nothing falls between a strategist, a trafficker and an analyst.
Cleaner audience decisions
Every audience has a stated purpose and a test plan, which keeps overlap down and makes it obvious which segments deserve more budget.
Reporting that matches your KPIs
We report against the outcomes you agreed, whether that is new-to-brand customers, detail page views or sales, and explain the movement behind each number.
Capacity without hiring
Agencies add Amazon DSP coverage for clients without recruiting specialists, and brands cover peak periods without stretching a small in-house team.
Services in this solution
Each part is delivered by the same AdOps Media team, so planning, execution and reporting stay in one place.
What managed Amazon DSP covers
Amazon DSP is the demand-side platform that lets advertisers buy display, video, audio and streaming TV placements programmatically. It reaches Amazon owned and operated properties as well as third-party sites and apps, and it can draw on Amazon shopper signals that most other platforms cannot see. That makes it valuable, and also easy to misuse if audiences and budgets are not organized carefully.
Our managed service covers the full workflow: planning, order setup, creative trafficking, bid and budget management, brand safety settings, and reporting. We work inside your Amazon Ads account or an agency seat, depending on how you buy. Every change is documented, so your own team can follow what happened and why, and pick the account back up whenever it wants.
Using Amazon audiences and AMC well
Strong Amazon DSP results usually come from asking narrow questions of the audience data. Who has viewed our products but not bought? Who bought a competing product recently? Which creative reaches people who go on to purchase? We build audiences around questions like these and test them one at a time, so learning accumulates instead of blurring together. Each test gets a clear hypothesis, a fixed window and a decision rule written down in advance.
Amazon Marketing Cloud adds a privacy-safe environment where campaign exposure can be analyzed alongside shopping behavior, within the rules Amazon sets. We use it to examine path to purchase, overlap between sponsored ads and DSP, and the audiences worth scaling. Our clean rooms and attribution work follows the same principle: ask a precise question, then act on the answer. Findings feed straight back into audience and budget changes.
Fitting Amazon DSP into a wider retail plan
Amazon rarely works alone. Most brands also run sponsored ads on Amazon, activity at other retailers, and offsite media such as streaming TV. We help you decide how Amazon DSP shares the plan with those channels, and we keep naming, budgets and reporting consistent so that results can be compared fairly across every network you buy. That discipline matters most during peak periods, when budgets move quickly and reporting is read closely.
If you sell through several retailers, our multi-retailer media management service puts Amazon beside Walmart, Instacart and others under one workflow. For the wider offer, see our retail media marketing service, or review our approach to offsite programmatic retail media and how it connects to onsite activity. Together these give you a single view of how retail media supports growth.
Illustrative example: a narrow audience test
This is an example, not a client result. A pet-food brand wants to know whether lapsed buyers respond better to a reminder than to a general prospecting ad. The hypothesis is written first: reminder creative to lapsed buyers will produce more purchases per dollar over a set window.
Two line items share a budget, one for the lapsed-buyer audience and one for a broad in-market audience. The team agrees the decision rule before launch: for example, shift budget if the lapsed audience leads by a margin set in advance across the whole window. The result is read against that rule, not against a day-to-day swing.
What you get at the start
The first phase sets structure. You receive:
• An account and campaign structure with naming that carries product, audience and objective.
• An audience plan that states the question each audience answers.
• A measurement plan, including whether Amazon Marketing Cloud is available to you under Amazon's current rules.
• A reporting template that separates Amazon-owned inventory from third-party supply.
Decision criteria: DSP management or self-serve?
Consider managed help when you run several advertisers, switch between sponsored ads and DSP, or lack time for audience testing. Self-serve may be enough if you have a single brand, a trained buyer and a simple plan.
Ask any provider what happens to your data and seat if you part ways. We work inside your Amazon seat, so you keep ownership.

FAQ
Do you work inside our Amazon Ads account?
Yes. We can operate inside your existing Amazon Ads or Amazon DSP seat with permissions you control, or through an agency seat. Access is set up per user, and you keep ownership of the account, the data and the creative throughout.
Can you manage Amazon DSP for our agency clients under our brand?
Yes. We work white-label for agencies, so reports, communication and documentation can carry your name. Your clients deal with your team, while ours handles the planning, trafficking and optimization behind the scenes, to the standards you set. Many agencies use us for entire client accounts, others only for peak periods or overflow.
Is Amazon Marketing Cloud required?
No. Amazon Marketing Cloud is useful for deeper analysis, but access and eligibility depend on your account and on Amazon's current rules. We can start with standard DSP reporting and add Amazon Marketing Cloud work later, once it fits your goals.
Do you only cover Amazon, or other retailers too?
We cover Amazon and other networks. Many clients combine Amazon DSP with Walmart Connect, Instacart and Criteo activity, and we can manage them together so that budgets, naming and reporting stay consistent across all of your retailers, with one team accountable for each of them and one report that shows how they compare.
How do we get started?
Share your goals and current setup through our contact page. We will review the account, outline a plan and scope, and agree reporting before any spend is changed. There is no obligation at the review stage, and you decide whether to continue.
How is Amazon DSP management priced?
Amazon DSP work is usually priced in one of three ways: a monthly retainer, a percentage of media spend, or a project fee for setup. Percentage fees rise with spend, while retainers do not. Whichever model we propose, you see it in writing before work starts. Minimum budgets and fee levels depend on your account and Amazon's rules at the time, so we confirm them during scoping.
